The Budget and Financial operations of ASJUSD are a collaborative effort led by the Business Services Department in partnership with district leadership. Together, the Superintendent’s Office and Business Department team work to ensure the district’s ongoing fiscal health through careful planning, transparent reporting, and responsible stewardship of public resources. Maintaining fiscal solvency requires continuous communication with school sites and departments as annual budgets are developed, monitored, and adjusted. This collaborative dialogue also extends to community stakeholders through the implementation of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) and the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), ensuring that budget decisions reflect district goals and community priorities.
