Educational Services

The Educational Services Department is a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to serving the teachers, staff, and students of Aromas–San Juan Unified School District. We partner closely with district and site leaders to support high-quality curriculum, effective instruction, and meaningful assessments, while navigating national, state, and local educational initiatives.

Our department includes a Data and Assessment Team and Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSAs) who provide targeted instructional support in English Learners (ELs) and the Integrated Arts. The department also oversees the Preschool Program through the Preschool Director, ensuring high-quality early learning experiences and alignment with state and district priorities. In addition, Educational Services leads Work-Based Learning (WBL) initiatives that are directly connected to Career and College Readiness, providing students with opportunities to apply learning in real-world contexts and explore postsecondary pathways.

Teacher professional learning, Common Core implementation, and academic access remain central to our work. We are committed to providing staff with timely data, clear information, effective resources, and responsive support to meet the diverse needs of all students and to ensure success from preschool through graduation.
