State Assessments
State Assessments
Every year, California students take statewide assessments that, along with grades, classwork, and teacher observations, provide families and teachers with a more complete picture of a student’s learning. Assessment results can help identify areas where a student is doing well and where additional support may be needed.
Your child may participate in one or more of the following assessments: the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), and the Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
