Facility & Maintenance Department Services

The ASJUSD Facilities, Maintenance & Operations Department is responsible for ensuring that all district schools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for students, staff, and the community. Our department includes the Maintenance & Operations Manager, a districtwide grounds crew, and custodial teams at every school site.

Each school is staffed with two custodians—one assigned to the morning shift and one to the evening shift—to provide continuous cleaning and support throughout the day. The district also employs one floating custodian who assists at various campuses as needed. In addition, our bus drivers support custodial duties during portions of their workday, helping keep campuses clean and ready for student use.

Together, our team performs daily cleaning, grounds maintenance, event preparation, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep to ensure our learning environments are safe, functional, and welcoming.

Work Order Requests

To report a maintenance issue or request facility support, please submit a work order by email to facilities@asjusd.org with a brief explanation of the issue, location and your contact information. For urgent issues, contact the Maintenance & Operations Manager at extension 1252. We prioritize safety concerns and strive for prompt response and resolution.
