Certificated Employees
Certificated employees are required to hold a valid California teaching or services credential and support instructional programs and student learning.
Examples of certificated positions include:
- Classroom Teachers (TK–12)
- Special Education Teachers
- School Counselors
- School Psychologists
- Speech-Language Pathologists
- Principals and Site Administrators
- Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSA's)
Classified Employees
Classified employees do not require a teaching credential and serve in essential support roles that help schools operate safely and effectively.
Examples of classified positions include:
- Paraeducators / Instructional Aides (Special Education, Transitional Kindergarten, Preschool)
- Office and Clerical Staff
- Custodial and Maintenance Staff
- Nutrition Services
- Transportation (School Bus Drivers - we will train you!)
- Campus Supervisors
- Technology Support
