Welcome to ASJUSD Technology Services
The ASJUSD Technology Department supports learning, innovation, and operational excellence across all schools. Our work is guided by the district’s Technology Plan (2024–2028), which outlines our commitment to providing equitable digital access, modern classroom tools, secure systems, and reliable connectivity for every student and staff member.
Our Mission
Aligned with ASJUSD’s vision of a thriving learning community committed to equity and excellence, we ensure that technology enhances teaching, streamlines communication, protects data, and prepares students for college, career, and life.
What We’re Working On Now
Based on our four-year Technology Plan, current initiatives include:
- Upgrading district internet from 1GB to 5GB to support increased digital learning
- Migrating on-premise servers to secure cloud-based solutions
- Strengthening cybersecurity through enhanced access controls, MFA, and network safeguards
- Implementing modern classroom technology (interactive displays, document cameras, VR headsets)
- Supporting 1:1 Chromebooks for all students, with a 4–5 year refresh cycle for devices
- Providing onboarding and ongoing training for staff in instructional technology tools
