ASJUSD Student Devices

ASJUSD provides 1:1 Chromebooks for all students, ensuring equitable access to learning tools and curriculum. Devices follow a district-funded 4–5 year refresh cycle to maintain reliability and performance. 

Student Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Bring the device to school daily, fully charged
  • Use the device for educational purposes only
  • Follow the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Care for the device and protect it from damage

What Can be Found in Every Classroom

ASJUSD District Classroom Technology Standards:

  • 65–75” interactive flat panel display in each classroom
  • Document camera in every classroom
  • Chromebook cart for K–8 classrooms
  • Wireless screen mirroring for instructional flexibility 

Device Repairs

Each school site follows a repair check-in process supported by the district IT team. Repairs typically involve:

  • Device check-in at the school site
  • Diagnostic review by IT
  • Loaner device (if available)
  • Repair or replacement based on damage assessment

The Technology Department is dedicated to providing ongoing support resources and adequate technical staffing to maintain high-performing systems.
