Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)The Aromas–San Juan Unified School District Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides high-quality before school, after school, summer, and intersession learning experiences for students.

Expanded learning programs focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Our program is student-centered and results-driven, designed to enrich learning beyond the regular school day.

ELOP at ASJUSD:

• Supports academic growth and skill development
• Builds social-emotional learning and positive relationships
• Encourages physical activity and wellness
• Provides engaging enrichment opportunities based on student interests
• Partners with families and community organizations to enhance programming

Expanded learning complements—but does not replicate—the instructional program offered during the regular school day. Instead, it provides students with opportunities to explore, create, collaborate, and grow in meaningful ways.

Our program is offered in partnership with Youth Alliance, helping us provide high-quality enrichment, supervision, and engaging experiences for students across our district.
