Good afternoon, Aromas Families--

The San Benito County Free Library has changed the distribution date for the free Chromebooks and hot spots. The new distribution date will be on Tuesday, May 30th at 2:45 p.m. in the gym. 

The SBCFL has changed the parameters of its distribution due to an audit of its procedures through the grant funding the program. As a result, there will be 100 computers and hot spots distributed to students only. In order to facilitate the distribution, the SBCFL is asking that the library card application be filled out and returned to the office by April 28th (next Friday). A represenative from the SBCFL will pick up the applications and return the library cards to the school before the event date. 

Library card applications will be sent home with students Friday, April 21st. Completed applications should be returned to the office by Friday, April 28th. The applications will be numbered in the order they are received until we reach 100. 

Unfortunately, due to the new parameters, the SBCFL is not taking appointments for Chromebook and hot spot distribution at the Hollister branch at this time.
