To the Aromas Learning Community:
The District is in the process of readying its schools for reopening in a hybrid/cohort model on the anticipated date of Monday, April 12th. At Aromas School, Cohort 1 would be on campus Monday and Tuesday mornings, and Cohort 2 would be on campus Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Students will be dismissed at lunchtime. This model includes three (3) days of online learning, including Friday. Drop-off/pick-up times are currently being discussed to ensure the safety of students and staff on campus.
The grade levels of students allowed on campus is connected to the colored-tier system developed by the State. As of today, San Benito County is still in the purple tier, which only allows for K-2 students to return. As the County moves into the red tier--hopefully soon!--we will be permitted to have more grade-level groups on campus.
