Dear Anzar Families,
Our Learning Community is currently experiencing unprecedented traffic levels in the Aromas area due to the closure of surrounding roads and highways. This is making it challenging for
students who live in the Aromas, Prunedale, Royal Oaks, Las Lomas areas to get to school on time or get here at all. In order to relieve the stress of getting to and from school, we have made the decision to have students who live in the Aromas, Prunedale, Royal Oaks, Las Lomas areas to log in to their classes remotely effective tomorrow, Thursday, March 16th. We hope these necessary adjustments will be temporary, perhaps throughout the rest of this week, but we will be in touch as we learn more.
Students who have Aromas, Prunedale, Royal Oaks, Las Lomas zip codes will be expected to log in through Google Meet or Zoom for each of their class periods (1-3 and Advisory) tomorrow. Meeting links can be found on each Google Classroom. All students should have a school issued or personal computer to use. All other students living outside of Aromas are expected to attend in-person classes unless they have an excused illness or appointments with doctor’s notes. Please let us know if your student needs a computer or charger.
Teachers are preparing to push out classwork and links through their Google Classrooms and other messaging apps that they use.
