Monday Professional Development: Teachers engaged in a full day of collaborative learning and planning. The morning focused on:
Analyzing last year’s state testing data
Reviewing College and Career Readiness Indicators
Diving deeper into the California College Guidance Initiative
In the afternoon, staff worked together to thoughtfully plan for a strong and engaging Intersession experience.
🌟 Intersession Begins This Week!
Intersession is all about hands-on learning, real-world experiences, and building skills beyond the classroom. This week, students will be participating in meaningful activities, including:
Working at the Second Harvest Food Bank
Beach clean-up projects
Outdoor learning at Toro Park
A visit to the Seymour Marine Discovery Center for Marine Biology students
Leadership students attending a networking event at Hollister High School with fellow student leaders
These experiences are designed to build responsibility, community awareness, and real-life skills.
