Anzar High School

For the fourth consecutive year, Anzar hosted this county event and won! Students from Anzar and San Benito High Schools competed for the county honors. From Anzar, Norberto Murillo, Santino Leahy, and Xavier Guarach competed, and sophomore Santino Leahy won first place. He will move on the the state-level competition in Sacramento the second weekend of March. This year, senior student Cesar Avila and his friend Devon Hubert provided music between poetry sets. Thank you to Ms. Deckelmann for coaching the students this year again.
