Aromas-San Juan USD schools will be open on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
Due to road closures and evacuation warnings in some areas adjacent to us, bus transportation will not be available to students at the Murphy Hill area and along the San Juan Road and Highway 129 corridor.
We will continue to watch weather conditions. Please be sure to check asjusd.org for the most recent updates under the Live Feed.

AROMAS SAN JUAN UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Governing Board of the Aromas San Juan Unified School District is happy to announce that it offered the interim superintendent position to Dr. Barb Dill-Varga. Dr. Dill-Varga was the previous superintendent of the Carmel Unified School District for three years. She will start working with the District on Tuesday, August 29, 2022. She brings to the District her skills as a life long educator dedicated to serving all students. Board President Casey Powers said “We are delighted to have Dr. Dill-Varga come to us as the
interim superintendent. The Board feels she is just the right person for our District at this time and will help our District continue to make important improvements in our service to our students and our community.”
Dr. Dill-Varga said: “I am honored to be selected by the governing board to become part of the school district family serving as your Interim Superintendent. I am very excited to learn about the district and its goals and be of assistance as together we work diligently to make sure all of our children can be successful.”
