Hello, Middle School Parents-- Our girls' basketball team is going to have its first practice on Tuesday, November 16th, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Students must have a completed sports packet on file and a 2.0 GPA to participate. Dear Aromas Parents: Tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 p.m., the Aromas staff will be conducting a lockdown drill. At the time of the drill, teachers will be locking their doors, closing their blinds, turning the lights out, and barricading their doors. Students will be asked to be completely silent during the entirety of the drill. All teachers have reviewed the full lockdown procedures with their students, but it would be especially helpful if you could also speak to your child about the purpose of the drill and why it is necessary to practice this type of situation. We anticipate some anxiety from our younger students, but a simple conversation with parents might help to reduce potential stress. Again, this is a lockdown drill only which will begin at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.

Good morning, Aromas Families-- I am excited to share that we are now extending the FREE on-site COVID-19 testing to our students as well as staff. Please check the "News" section of our website for details on how to register your child to be tested and the testing schedule for Aromas School. Thank you for your continued support in the effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and limit the impact this virus has on our community.

Good evening, Aromas Families-- Our Halloween Costume Parade is back...and we know that you want to see all our kiddos decked out in their costume finery! Since parents are not allowed on campus at this time, we are going to bring the parade to you! The parade will start at 9:00 a.m., and after we pick up all classes, we will be walking out of the big gate to the blacktop area onto the sidewalk by the gym, and back into the school through the drop-off gate. We will then pick up middle school students and make another pass through the gates. Parents MUST stay out of the bus lane. See you tomorrow at little after 9:00 a.m.!

Los estudiantes que usualmente van al área asfaltada se reportarán directamente al interior del gimnasio. Los maestros recogerán a sus estudiantes en el gimnasio a las 8:10. Good morning, Aromas Families-- We are finally getting some much needed rain this morning...which will change where our Bulldogs will go upon their arrival at school today. Bus riders and students eating breakfast will stay in the cafeteria until the 8:10 bell. Students who usually go to the blacktop area will report directly to the inside of the gym. Teachers will pick up their students at the gym at 8:10. Thank you...and have a wonderful weekend!

Dear Aromas Families-- Our Aromas Home & School Club is starting our Cherrydale fundraiser, and your involvement is needed more than ever! Money raised from this fundraiser directly impacts your child by providing education experiences beyond strict fundamentals. The Home & School Club helps us support student achievement by providing funds for Student of the Month Recognitions, Honor Roll Breakfasts and field trips, Accelerated Reader luncheons and awards, Field Day, and so much more. Our HSC also supports our teachers by giving them an annual stipend for additional classroom supplies and assists with funding field trips. Our HSC provides funds which are not part of the school budget during these tough times. Please know that your assistance this year in particular will make a huge dierence!
