Good evening, Aromas Families-- As promised last week, we are providing an update on the “All Scholars Afterschool” program. The program is a fee-for-service at a rate of $250 per month. We continue to recruit for two positions for the program approved by the Board and located on the Aromas School campus. The program will be offered from 2:45 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 1:15 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Because the two positions are still pending, we are actively and creatively looking at options to start the program as soon as possible. We will provide an update at the beginning of next week. Good morning, Aromas Families-- This is a reminder that the gate opens at 7:45 a.m. for students to be dropped off at school. There is no supervision for students before that time. Breakfast service in the cafeteria also begins at 7:45 a.m. Parents are not allowed on campus at this time. The water to the drinking fountains on campus has been turned off due to COVID concerns. We have two water bottle refilling stations available for students to fill up their reusable water bottles. Please send your child(ren) to school with a reusable water bottle so they can hydrate themselves during the day. Thank you! Buenos días, Aromas Families. Morning drop-off will be at the gate near blacktop and pickup will be at the gate on the other side of the gym. Please remember that all Wednesdays are minimum days with a release time of 1:15 p.m., and that includes tomorrow! The District is currently recruiting to staff the program. The two positions for this program are still pending, with hopes of filling them both shortly. Due to the vacancies in the program, we will not be able to open on Day 1. We will provide weekly updates so that parents will be able to plan.
