Dear Aromas Families: Starting Monday, August 17th, the District’s food service will be providing meals for pick-up between 11:30-1:00 in the Aromas School parking lot. Children do not need to be present in the car for parents to receive meals, but you should have the student ID numbers for all children receiving food. Parents are still required to provide payment for paid or reduced meal prices based on the Meal Application that was submitted last year. Please make sure to fill out a new lunch application before the deadline for this school year. Please contact Janie Cecena, the District’s Food Service Manager, at 623.4402 with questions. This is a reminder that any student in grades 6 through 8 may come to Aromas School on Monday, August 10th, to pick up a Chromebook if needed. Computers may be picked up between 4-6:00 p.m. A refundable $25 insurance deposit is recommended at the time of pick-up to cover the cost of any possible damage. Cash or checks made out to “ASJUSD” will be accepted. Students and parents will also be asked to sign a District Technology Use Agreement at the time of computer pick-up. Good evening, Aromas Families— This is a reminder that our Parent Information night will be held virtually Tuesday, August 11th, at 6:00 p.m. A link to the meeting will be posted on our school website Monday morning. A translation service will be available. Our two kindergarten orientations will be held virtually Monday, August 10th. The meeting for parents of students in Mrs. Mantega’s class will be held at 4:30 p.m. The meeting for parents of students in Mrs. Lee’s class will be held at 5:30 p.m. Translation services will be available for both meetings. Hello Aromas Families! Our yearbooks are finally making their way to Aromas! The office will be open this Wednesday, July 1, from 9:00-1:00 to distribute yearbooks. If you have already paid for your yearbook, please bring your receipt on pick-up day. If you did not get the chance to order a yearbook, we will have extras in the office that will be on sale for $35. Checks should be made out to the Aromas Home & School Club.
