Buenas noches, familias de Aromas, Este es un recordatorio de que mañana es el día de las fotos en la escuela Aromas. Good evening, Aromas Families— This is a reminder that tomorrow is picture day at Aromas School. Touchless photography is being provided by Premier Studios in our school gym. We ask that you maintain the social distancing requirement of 6 feet and wearing masks while you wait for your turn to enter the gym near the main entrance to the school in the parking lot. Photos can be ordered online or payment can be made tomorrow. Please see the school website for grade-level scheduled times and the informational flyer. It is recommended that parents with students in multiple grade levels come during the open period of 2:30-5:00. If you do not wish your child to have his/her picture taken tomorrow, please contact the office for information on how you can submit your own photo. Aromas School would like to thank our generous community partner Fireclay Tile for providing a bag of art supplies for our students as they exit the gym tomorrow.

Aromas Families: Free breakfast and lunch will be distributed to children in the community at Aromas School during the current period of school closure. Food will be distributed in the Aromas School parking lot from 11:30-1:00. This is a Federal program. All children ages zero to 18 years old are eligible to receive meals. Baby formula and baby food is also available. Children are not required to be present in the car to receive meals. Please contact our Food Service Department with any questions you may have regarding this program. Dear Aromas Families: Starting Monday, August 17th, the District’s food service will be providing meals for pick-up between 11:30-1:00 in the Aromas School parking lot. Children do not need to be present in the car for parents to receive meals, but you should have the student ID numbers for all children receiving food. Parents are still required to provide payment for paid or reduced meal prices based on the Meal Application that was submitted last year. Please make sure to fill out a new lunch application before the deadline for this school year. Please contact Janie Cecena, the District’s Food Service Manager, at 623.4402 with questions. This is a reminder that any student in grades 6 through 8 may come to Aromas School on Monday, August 10th, to pick up a Chromebook if needed. Computers may be picked up between 4-6:00 p.m. A refundable $25 insurance deposit is recommended at the time of pick-up to cover the cost of any possible damage. Cash or checks made out to “ASJUSD” will be accepted. Students and parents will also be asked to sign a District Technology Use Agreement at the time of computer pick-up.
