The Latino Coalition of San Benito County will be holding a press conference regarding immigration information and your rights Saturday, January 25th at 10AM at the Epicenter in Hollister - 440 San Benito St.

Por precaución, debido a la inestabilidad de la situación, cancelaremos las actividades después de la escuela esta noche (como el Baile de la Escuela San Juan y el juego de baloncesto de Anzar, por ejemplo). We received news this afternoon of another incident at the Moss Landing plant. In an abundance of caution due to the instability of the situation, we are cancelling tonight's after school activities (San Juan School Dance and Anzar's Basketball game as examples). After school programs will keep students indoors though parents may pick up their students early if they wish. Please stay alert to emergency messages and warnings about limiting your family's exposure to the outside environment. We hope the crisis will be averted by our return to school on Tuesday, January 21, after the long holiday weekend. Best, Barb Dill-Varga

ASJUSD is excited to announce our first Curriculum & Instruction Committee Meeting scheduled for Jan. 22 at the district office from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. The presentations, discussions, and topics will be centered around content that aligns with curriculum, instruction, and assessment. These discussions will include a new Ethnic Studies course, Math performance, and English Language Development (ELD). Everyone is welcome to attend. We encourage staff, community members, parents and students to participate.
