Good morning, Aromas Families--Due to a major fire at the Quarry, we are going to have to cancel school for today. The power is out at the school and in Aromas, and the air quality is unhealthy. We are hopeful that we will be able to resume school tomorrow. Please be safe!

Good afternoon, Aromas Families--
There is a fire currently burning in Watsonville. Monterey County has issued an evacuation order for Vega Road and surrounding areas. The school is not in the evacuation zone at the current time so our afterschool programs and volleyball practice will continue as usual. There is a lot of smoke blowing through our campus so you may want to come and pick up your child early. We will be monitoring the situation and will keep you informed if the evacuation orders change.

Nuestro Club de Hogar y Escuela ha hecho arreglos para que el Departamento de Bomberos venga a la Escuela Aromas este viernes 9 de junio a las 12:20 p.m. para enviar a nuestros estudiantes al verano con una ducha de manguera contra incendios!
Los estudiantes pueden cambiarse y ponerse trajes de baño antes del evento, y se recomienda que traigan una toalla ese día para secarse después... y posiblemente una muda de ropa, si así lo desean.
¡Recuerde que el viernes es un día de salida temprano y la hora de salida es a la 1:15
